These terms apply to the Duo Themes iOS app. By installing or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

The app is free

Duo Themes is provided free of charge. There is no subscription, no in-app purchase and no paid unlock. If that ever changes, the change will be announced on the App Store listing before it takes effect.

What you may do

You may use Duo Themes for personal or commercial purposes, and the wallpapers, widget designs and icons you create with it are yours to use as you wish. No attribution is required.

What you may not do

You may not decompile, reverse engineer or redistribute the app itself, or attempt to pass it off as your own product.

Your content

Any photo or text you add to a widget stays on your device. We never receive it, cannot access it and therefore cannot recover it for you. Backing up your device is the only way to preserve your designs.

What the app cannot do

iOS does not allow any app to change another app's icon directly. Duo Themes creates icon images and explains how to apply them through Apple's Shortcuts app, which is the route Apple supports. Widgets on iOS are also refreshed by the system rather than running continuously, so they cannot update second by second. These are platform limits, not defects in the app.

No warranty

The app is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error free, or compatible with every device or future version of iOS.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including loss of data or designs.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. The current version is always the one published on this page, with its update date shown at the top.
